National Meadows Day

Parbold Wildlife Group.
On Saturday July 1st which is National Meadows Day, the Group will be holding an Open Day on Chapel Lane Meadow Biological Heritage Site, WN8 7HZ, GR: SD496104 which is approximately ten minutes' walk from Parbold railway station.
Chapel Meadow can be found at the far end of Bramble Way, off Alder Lane, (A5209), where there is a large car park.
Practical tasks such as clearing thistle and ragwort will take place from 10.30 to 12.30., and at 14.00 there will be a guided walk round the site which is open to everyone and will be suitable for families. Refreshments will be available all day until 16.00.
