U3A Horizons meeting and talk

PARBOLD, NEWBURGH AND DISTRICT U3A
The U3A exists to bring together retired and semi-retired people in a friendly setting to help increase our knowledge by sharing our interests and talents with each other. Meetings take place at the Hut- on- the- Hill, Parbold every 2nd and 4th Tuesday of the month from 1.30- 3.30pm where details can be found of social and interest group activities. Do come and have a free taster session.
Tuesday 11th July, A talk entitled ‘ Summer Punch and Tasty Treats’, where Janet Evans will demonstrate how to make canapes for summer parties. The demonstration will start at 1.30pm when elderflower punch will be served. With dips and canapes served after the demonstration, which will last approximately one hour; tea/coffee and petite strawberry cream cakes will also be served. The door fee will be £2.50 to our members and visitors.
