Parbold Ramblers walk

A flat and easy walk of 5.5 miles to the south of Chester falls into 2 distinct halves. The first Is through attractive woodland and across meadows bordering the River Dee, The second uses short stretches of Chester’s medieval wails and passes some of the city’s historic sites, allowing plenty of time to explore one of England’s most attractive, historic and fascinating cities.
Meet Parbold shops at 9.00. Walk to start at about 10.5 from Little Roodee Car Park. Fee £5.00 for 6 hours payable on leaving (number plate recognition used)

M6 junction 20A, S/P M56 North Wales.
Junction 15 of M56 S/P M53 Chester,
To junction 12 S/P A56 Chester.

In 190 yards turn left onto Castle Drive, Little Roodee Car Park is on the right Post Code CH12 LY is for the racecourse you have Just passed.
Toilets
Toilets in the cafe on the car park. There are no other toilets on the walk.

Bring sandwiches and drink;
Hazards.
At the start we will be crossing some busy roads, and then paved tracks before taking the well - used footpaths through meadows alongside the River.
