PARKING. Public Car Park Condor Green LA2 0AN. There is a charge; it used to be £1 but may have increased. There are toilets here.
WALK. The walk will start at 10 a.m. and is 9 miles. It is mainly on the flat with half of the walk along the Glasson branch of the Canal to its junction with the Lancaster Canal and then along the Lancaster Canal. We then leave the Canal and go through Stoddy to join the Lancaster Coastal Way walking along the Lune estuary back to Conder Green Car Park.. The walk may be muddy in places so walking boots and walking poles are recommended. It is up to each individual to take responsibility for his or her own safety.
DIRECTIONS. Leave Parbold at 9 a.m. and go North on the M6. At junction 33 take the A6 exit to Lancaster South, At the roundabout take the 2nd exit onto the A6 Preston Lancaster Road. After 0.8 miles turn left onto Salford Road and after 0.2 miles turn left onto Birch Avenue turning left again to stay on Birch Avenue, then continue on to Conder Green Road. After a mile turn right and then left toward the A588. Turn right on the A588 and left by the Stork Hotel. Follow this road to the Carpark.
