Day Trip to Cholmondeley Castle & Plant Hunters Fair
Date: Sunday, 29th April. Cost: £18 for members and £20 for non-members.
Cholmondeley Castle is found off the A49 between Warrington & Whitchurch. There is a Rose Garden & a new herbaceous border. The Lilly Pond allows access to the Silver Garden & Castle Terrace. Tower Hill offers woodland rambles. There is a Tea Room that provides home made cakes & light lunches. On the day there will be a Plant Hunters Fair with many special nurseries offering a wide range of rare varieties. Please write cheques to Parbold Garden Society & return to the address below. A reminder will be sent out a week before the trip.
