DOUGLAS DRAMA GROUP are pleased to announce that their next production will be BLOOD BROTHERS (Play Version) by special arrangement with Samuel French Ltd.
This Autumn/Winter, Parbold’s own amateur drama group, the DOUGLAS DRAMA GROUP, will be presenting BLOOD BROTHERS (Play Version) by special arrangement with Samuel French Ltd. Just to point that this is NOT the musical, apart from anything else, if you heard us singing, you’d know why we wouldn’t attempt ANY musical!! So this will be the original, fantastic, play written by Liverpool playwright, Willy Russell and will be staged on three nights on 29 & 30 Nov and 1 Dec at Parbold WI Hall, doors open at 7.00pm and curtain up is 7.30pm Tickets are available NOW at D-I-Y Centre, Parbold at £7.50 per ticket. Why not come and follow the fortunes of twin brothers, Mickey and Edward, who are separated at birth and grow up streets apart in Liverpool? Watch as they grow up and their paths cross again and again with tragic, angry and, at times, comic consequences - a classic tale and not to be missed.
Douglas Drama Group is an amateur drama group based in Parbold and has been putting on plays in Parbold for over 50 years, and we’re always looking for new members, acting, non-acting and social or follow our Facebook page for regular updates, as well as archive material going back around 50 years.
