Parbold and District Ramblers

Sunday 7th November

Countryside walk along the river Wyre

Description of the walk

A leisurely walk in the Fylde that starts at the Pheasants Wood Fisheries and goes along country lanes, across fields and by the banks of the river Wyre. The walk is approximately 5 miles long and takes about 2 ½ hours .

The terrain is flat and mostly goes along footpaths, but the lanes and fields get muddy when wet so it is best to wear stout boots and have a stick. There are also quite a few stiles!
