Local Walk. September 14th 2025
This is a local walk starting at the Red Lion. Meet at Red Lion at 9.45 am for a 10 am start.
The Walk
This is an easy 5 mile walk that many of you will recognise. It is on paths although there is a short road walk along Course Lane, and another along Lees lane where care must be taken. There are a couple of 'inclines' and one long descent. Some of the paths have prominent tree routes and so again take care. The scenery is lovely, goes to show that the Douglas valley has much to offer.
Food
Lunch is books at the Red Lion for 1.30 pm.
