Parbold Ramblers - Walk

Walk and Hotpot Sunday 18th January 2026
We will meet at Newburgh Sports and Social Club, Cobbs Brow Newburgh at 10am to start a walk of about 5 miles. We will take a route across the sports field out of Newburgh along footpaths towards the direction of Ashurst Beacon cutting across to the Leeds and Liverpool Canal through Parbold and returning to Newburgh creating a loop around Dalton.
We will arrive back in time for a serving of Hotpot, Apple Pie and tea or coffee at about 1pm.
Please ensure you wear strong boots and waterproof clothing. Most of the route is in good state however there may be parts which are muddy and slippery.
