The Leeds to Liverpool Canal

Connecting the cosmopolitan cities of Liverpool and Leeds together, the Leeds & Liverpool Canal is the longest canal in Britain built as a single waterway. The canal passes through Parbold and surrounding villages. Parbold is home to a number of boats  and is often a point of call for many people who are travelling on the canal and wish to stop and have a spot of lunch.
