The Scarecrow Festival Party Weekend at Cedar Farm 20 - 21 July
The Mawdesley Scarecrow Festival takes place on Saturday 20th and Sunday 21st July and Cedar Farm is getting involved in the fun with a party weekend.
There will be live music to enjoy on both days with jazz saxophonist Cian Radcliffe and ukelele band Ukerhythmix. Silcocks Fair will be here with their teacup ride and our friends from the Flying Pig Pizza Co, The Greek Grill and the Adam & Rose Gin Trailer will be providing plenty of delicious refreshments.
Steve Kingsford will be giving pottery demonstrations and we'll be welcoming some of our market stalls to Cedar Farm too. On Sunday Mawdesley Church will be joining us with freshly baked cakes and a tombola. Lots of our shops and studios will have their scarecrow creations on display and the Cedar Farm artisans are contributing some unique gifts to the prize hamper for the best scarecrow, as voted for by the public.
In addition Mrs Stanley (aka storyteller Tracey Collins) will be running sessions in the magical little Story Shed by the Animal Farm.
Parking is free at Cedar Farm over the weekend, information leaflets for the Scarecrow Festival are available in all our shops and maps will be available on arrival at the Farm over the weekend.
