The walk will take us through Williamson Park stopping at points of interest and into the historic city of Lancaster. We will have a coffee stop near the castle around 12 ish. The castle grounds have undergone refurbishment and we could not go into the courtyard on the day of the recce but hopefully it should be open in November for us to explore the courtyard where there are toilets and a café. After coffee we will go from the castle and Priory Church down towards the river Lune and Millennium Bridge and to the slavery monument.
