A Walk around Newburgh Hoscar & Lathom
Meet
Red Lion Newburgh 10am to start walk 10.15.
The Walk Approx. 5.5 miles Grade easy A.
The route has been devised to provide a circular walk using local lanes, trails footpaths and canal towpath. When we walk on the country lanes please exercise care if traffic or cyclists are around. Sorry Harry no hills to climb this is a very flat walk or stroll.
Toilets.
We may be able to go in the Red Lion before we set off.
Note this December local walk should be Peter Wallis's walk but unfortunately Peter not well at the moment. So with the help of Peter and Lesley & L Ann we checked on a couple of walks in the local area but the conditions of the ground was atrocious It was decided to do this walk as it is mostly on country lanes and good tracks. We hope you all enjoy a stroll around our local area. Also we all wish Peter a speedy recovery.
Terrain
As we say its mainly tarmac lanes paths & canal towpath and one field to cross so the only places that could be muddy is the field & towpath.
