PARBOLD RAMBLING CLUB NEW YEAR HOT POT WALK

Directions

From Junct 27 on the M6 take the road to Standish.At the traffic lights go straight ahead past the Owls to mini roundabout Turn Left and the car park 200 meters on your right.Chorley Road WN12XW.

The Walk takes us around the lakes up through the woods to the canal. We then go along towpath to Adlington. Then we make our way back along country lanes field tracks into the wooded Worthington estate around the lakes and back to the carpark.

Terrain As we have mentioned we go through woodland paths canal towpaths and field tracks so could be a little muddy in places. So good footwear recommended. The walk is around 5miles so should just get you ready for your hotpot .Note we will have a short break on the walk for a coffee stop, bring your own.

HOT-POT Booked for 1.30 at Gathurst Golf Club Miles Lane Shevington, Wigan WN6 BEW.

Enter the club from Miles Lane, Shevington near Motorway bridge. The barrier will automatically go up. Please park on the car park at the back of the club.

Note: dress code is no jeans, tracksuits or trainers, but clean walking gear is fine Thank you.

The day code to enter the club house and exit the car park will be displayed on the day.

NOTE For those not doing the walk please be at the club for around 1.15.
