PARBOLD WI NEWS
Tuesday 7 December is our members party night. The evening will commence at the earlier time of 6.30 pm. As announced at the last meeting it will take the form of a Jacob’s Join supper - please remember to bring your own drinks. Entertainment will be provided. We look forward to seeing you all and to starting the Christmas celebrations early.
The first meeting of the New Year is on 4 January commencing at the usual time of 7.30 pm. The speaker for the evening is Rhona Whiteford and her talk is entitled A Modern Cottage Industry. We have had a few new members joining us recently and we would welcome anyone else who would like to give us a try.
As announced last month the WI Pantomime is back. Mother Goose will be staged at the WI between 25 and 29 January 2022. Tickets will go on sale from the
1 December at the DIY Store here in Parbold. Adults £7.50 - Children £5.50. This is a very popular event and certain performances sell out very quickly.
Our Hall is also available for hire. It is a very popular venue for holding children’s parties/family celebrations and if anyone is thinking about starting a regular tutor led class in the future, we do have time slots available.
